6(D)              Mechanical Power Engineering Department

          Government Technical Institute (Chauk) with the great tradition prospect warmly welcomes the students who are well selected in accordance with the standard instruction by Head of Technical Vocational Education and Training to learn many institutional engineering subjects. According to our college good reputation, our department also teaches theory and practical well during three years courses.

          In first year, Myanmar, English, Mathematics, Engineering Drawing, Workshop Technology, Engineering Mechanics and Science are taught.

          English, Mathematics, Engineering Drawing, Production Technology, Thermodynamic, Internal Combustion Engines, Strength of Materials and Theory of Machines are taught to second year mechanical students.

          English, Design of Machine Elements, Automotive Technology, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Fluid Mechanics, Internal Combustion Engines, Control Technology and Estimating and shop Managements are also taught in third year mechanical course.

          We are teaching theoretically and practically for the aim of getting more job opportunities and respective department related to machines. Moreover, students can also build their own industry and workshop and they can get a job companie. Therefore, our department teaches current innovative technology.
